Our Partnership
Oxford House Community Care are pleased to announce that we have entered a partnership with People 2 Places and are sponsoring one of their minibuses!
People 2 places are an independent charity based in Maidenhead and Windsor that provide community transport and shop mobility services. They aid those with mobility issues by providing accessibility and door to door transport. This can cover day trips, visits to the shops, hospitals, and day centres.
One of our core values is to support and help the local community. A partnership with People 2 Places is the perfect opportunity to further our commitment in helping the local community.
Working in the care sector gives us first-hand visibility on the impact mobility issues can have on people’s daily lives, especially those that have limited access to transport.
These issues not only prevent them from collecting everyday essential items but also increase the risk of isolation due to them being unable to see friends or interact with others.
Our sponsorship will support the minibus to run and allow users of the service to travel wherever and whenever they want, helping to tackle isolation with the opportunity to meet friends during community days out.
