We want to attract the right staff... And keep them

We look for people who are dedicated to providing the very highest level of person-centred care.

We are committed to supporting our staff - we offer one of the best pay structures; including - free uniforms, paid holiday, company mobiles, workplace pension, employee discount club and genuine career progression. In return, we expect kind and hardworking care workers who are looking for a rewarding career in the care sector.

Everyone who joins our team receives intensive induction training. The training is then put into practice during a 2-4 week period shadowing one of our experienced carers. Competency checks are undertaken to ensure our carers are confident and competent prior to working solo.

Ongoing training includes specialist areas such as how to care for people with dementia, diabetes, epilepsy and those with a disability. We support achieving levels 2, 3, 4 and 5 of NVQs in Health and Social Care in association with our local training providers.

Oxford House Community Care has been selected to pilot local authority projects to develop outcome-based care and commissioning strategies.

We have so much backup and support here... [the manager's] door is always open.
