We invest in technology to help us deliver the highest quality of service
Every carer carries a smartphone giving them access to in-depth information about the person they are due to visit including their personalised care plan, dietary and hydration preferences, any particular concerns, even recording their wellbeing.
The office team have a real-time picture of the progress of the carers’ home visits, so they can be sure that everyone receives their visit within the desired time period. The office can also send a message to the person who is expecting a visit if their carer is running late for any reason.
Families are also able to access the system, giving them the peace of mind that their relative has received a visit and no concerns have been raised.
Consistent feedback from carers about the handheld technology…
…easy to use…gives me more time to listen and talk with people.

Times change, and we adapt accordingly….
Our technology allows for our Care Coordinators to regularly update client information in real-time as a person’s requirements change. This promotes efficiency and responsiveness. All Carers have instant access to important documents via our App on their mobiles. The App highlights bookings, changes and personal preferences.
The App allows the team to update important features such as updating PPE stock levels, changes in medication and any variations to a person’s Care Plan. The technology is regularly updated with new and useful innovative features, including real-time access for relatives and designated health professionals.
