Oxford House Community Care celebrates 30 years of caring in the community.
Congratulations to Oxford House for providing exceptional homecare in their local community for 30 years.
Following the success of Oxford House Nursing Home and realising there was a gap in the market for homecare, the Johnston family set up Oxford House Community Care in 1992. It remains a family business today, committed to providing the very highest level of care to those wanting to stay as independent as possible in their home. Starting out in the Slough area, our services soon spread to other boroughs, including South Bucks, Maidenhead, Windsor and Bracknell.
Over the years, Oxford House Community Care have provided care to a huge number of people, each one with different care requirements. Our extensive care experience has enabled us to recognise individual needs and tailor personal care packages that works for both the person being cared for and their family. Our Carers become a valued extension to the person’s family. By building long-term relationships with the people they visit, our Carers can recognise if there is a need for increased care and respond promptly to any concerns.
We are proud to have a caring, diverse workforce, who are dedicated to help enrich the lives of those that we care for. Our Carers and support team are the backbone of our company and we are truly grateful to each member of staff for the wonderful service they deliver each day. We are lucky to have long-standing staff with many of the office and management team having been employed for over 10 years, which provides valuable experience and knowledge in our sector. We have dedicated Carers who have provided care with us for many years. Denise Neighbour, Senior Carer in Windsor has worked for Oxford House for an amazing 25 years. Denise’ work is exemplary, she is caring, compassionate and devoted to making the lives better of those she looks after in her area. The same goes for our Maidenhead carer, Sheraz Rehman. Sheraz has worked at Oxford House for 22 years and is a loyal, committed and valued member of our care team.
As technology and equipment has evolved, it is easier for people to stay at home safely for longer, giving families and friends peace of mind that their loved ones are receiving the best possible care. With the ability to be involved in the process and to track the care that is given, our care management systems promote efficiency and responsiveness.
Our independent satisfaction survey responses, along with local authority feedback forms and CQC inspection reports highlights the high quality, professional and friendly community care our service users have received and will continue to receive for years to come.
Most importantly, we are celebrating 30 years of relationships with our service users, staff and community members. We are celebrating 30 years of being a part of the community, giving something back and caring for those who need that bit of extra help.
Tony Johnston, Managing Partner of Oxford House commented: “Thank you to our care and support team for being part of our company’s success over the years. We greatly appreciate and value your hard work and dedication to our service users. Wishing you all the best in the years ahead.”
