This summer has been a season of connection, recognition, and community for Oxford House Community Care. From celebrating our dedicated staff to hearing valuable feedback from clients and sharing local events, we’re excited to look back at the highlights of the past few months.
A Tea-Style Celebration to Remember
In July, we gathered for our annual staff celebration party, inspired by the charm of a traditional afternoon tea. The event was a wonderful opportunity to enjoy delicious treats, reconnect with colleagues, and celebrate the incredible work carried out by our team every day.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all who joined us, and especially to our carers for their dedication and compassion. A special congratulations goes to everyone who received a Long Service Award, your commitment and loyalty are truly appreciated.
Quality Assurance Survey
In June, we sent out 100 surveys and were delighted to receive 22 responses, giving us a 22% return rate. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, reflecting the high standards upheld by our carers and office team.
- 91% of respondents said they are always treated with dignity and respect.
- 95% reported that our care helps them remain independent.
- Most clients highlighted timely visits, clear communication, and the ability to make choices in their daily care.
Service quality was rated as Excellent or Good by the vast majority, with many praising the consistency of seeing the same carers. Office support and our Out of Hours service also received excellent feedback.
Local Events and Community Connections
We’re always keen to share opportunities for our clients and their families to stay connected in the community. Here are two events worth checking out:
- Pubs ’n’ Pastries
