We recognise and reward our exceptional team members

There are several schemes in place to acknowledge and reward our staff for their hard work and dedication. Awards such as ‘Carer of the Year’ and long service awards are given out during an annual awards event.

Career progression is encouraged and we regularly promote people to Senior Carers, Area Supervisor and Care Co-ordinators.

We invest in our team and are very proud that our staff retention is higher than average for our sector.

I won an award due to good feedback from people using the service. I feel very encouraged and very happy and I will stay with the company.

From the Care Quality Commission report on Oxford House Community Care published March 2019

I have worked with Oxford House for 23 years. I still love my job and find it very rewarding. The people I care for are local to where I live and feel like family.

Oxford House Community Care has contributed significantly to the well-being of our clients and their families.

  • They wait until I tell them that I am ready for them to do what they have to do. To be fair, they are hot on dignity issues.
