A visit from one of our carers can make someone’s day

Companionship is often taken for granted but for many, loneliness is one attribute of older age that causes most concern.

At Oxford House Community Care, we understand that regular companionship is essential and enhances one’s daily life.

We can supply regular home visits – to provide a pleasant chat over a cup of tea, card playing or bridge for example – and accompanied trips to the shops, to the hairdresser, a walk or any other leisure activity. It’s often the small things that make a big difference.

I love my male carer, he really looks after me and he makes me shepherd’s pie.
