Promoting wellbeing and a healthy lifestyle
The on-call nursing care we provide is available 24/7. We have a close working relationship with our local GP practice who come to the nursing home weekly. Regular visits from opticians, dietitians, speech and language therapists ensure that our residents’ wellbeing is promoted and encourages a healthier lifestyle.
We can arrange physiotherapy and access specialist nursing, for example Macmillan nurses who provide advice and support for those with cancer.
Our residents have access to health and wellbeing services that, quite literally, offer care from top to toe with visiting hairdressers and chiropodists.
We also care for our residents’ spiritual wellbeing – those with faith may wish to attend our weekly church service and take communion.

“They take good care of Mum… (the staff) go beyond what you would expect.”
Quote from a daughter of a resident – Care Quality Commission Inspection Report, 2018
