Promoting wellbeing and a healthy lifestyle
The on-call nursing care we provide is available 24/7. We have a close working relationship with our local GP practice who come to the nursing home weekly. Regular visits from opticians, dietitians, speech and language therapists ensure that our residents’ wellbeing is promoted and encourages a healthier lifestyle.
We can arrange physiotherapy and access specialist nursing, for example Macmillan nurses who provide advice and support for those with cancer.
Our residents have access to health and wellbeing services that, quite literally, offer care from top to toe with visiting hairdressers and chiropodists.
Spiritual wellbeing is valued – for example, some residents choose to join a visiting weekly church service and communion. Others take part in organised visits to a variety of places of worship or other faith-based gatherings, according to their personal beliefs.

“They take good care of Mum… (the staff) go beyond what you would expect.”
Quote from a daughter of a resident – Care Quality Commission Inspection Report, 2018
