Working together to provide the best possible care

If you visit Oxford House regularly, you'll soon get to know members of our hardworking team. We are very proud of our high staff retention record, some of our team have been with us for more than two decades.

Continuity of nursing and care staff is of paramount importance to us and provides reassurance for residents and relatives.

When we need to recruit new staff, alongside carrying out all the background and reference checks that you would expect, we work very hard to find people who are genuinely caring, kind and willing to go that extra mile.

We invest in our staff by providing extensive initial and ongoing training in personal care, and specialist training for caring for people with dementia and physical disabilities.

The Oxford House management and nursing team are proactive and committed to following best practice and a programme of continuous improvement.

"High staff retention, which means Mum interacts with the staff like her family as she knows them so well now."
