Living at The Home

When living at Oxford House Nursing Home our priority is to not only provide support & assistance to residents, but to enrich their lives with joyful experiences and memories.

What makes the home so special is our focus on providing events that allows residents from all ages and ability's to join in. Helping to create an environment of togetherness and involvement as residents share experiences of laughter and happiness.

The main point of our organised trips or in home activities is the interest and hobbies of our residents. Within Oxford House, we believe these interests should be met frequently with a series of activities from quiz nights to Zumba, to assisted dancing.

With our connection to the local community, we arrange for resident days out with trips to the shops or local garden centres whenever possible. This is alongside our luxurious garden space that allows residents to enjoy BBQs and embrace the summer weather with the sounds of nature. Or in our conservatory where hymns and music sessions invite residents to join in and re-call with memories from dancing in the 90’s. With the lockdown easing and summer seasons approaching we look forward to hosting more events and activities with our residents. Here are some of our approaching events-
