Now delivering home care in Winkfield, Berkshire

We are excited to announce we have expanded our home care services into Winkfield, Berkshire. Our dedicated team of care staff, led by an experienced senior carer, will deliver professional, high-quality care to people in their own homes across Winkfield and the local surrounding area.

With over 30 years of experience in home care across Berkshire, we are delighted to be able to increase our capacity and offer services to a wider community.

What care is available to me at home?

Oxford House offer tailored care packages to help improve daily life. It could be help with personal care – helping someone to shower, get dressed, prompt medication and prepare daily meals. Or it could be that you need some companionship and help to get back into the community. We can help by assisting someone to go to the shops, or to go for out for a walk or attend a leisure activity. If you are looking for help with shopping and housework, Oxford House can also offer these services as part of the care package. We can help and support you to produce a personalised care plan that suits your needs now and develop it as required should your needs change in the future.

What are the duration of the care visits?

The minimum call time is 30 minutes per visit. We can provide one call per day or 4 calls per day depending on your requirements and timings. We operate 7 days per week, 365 days per year.

How will the carer find out about me and my daily routine?

As part of each client set-up, an experienced member of our care team will meet with you (and family members) to find out about and document your likes, dislikes, information on family and your past work and life history. We find out about religious and cultural backgrounds & staff are made aware of each client’s particular requirements and interests.  We will discuss any concerns and difficulties, and the impact it may have upon everyday tasks. All this information is made available to the carer through our care management system, which can also be accessed by family members who want to be involved in the care and to keep up to date on the care that is being given. Secure messages can also be sent to the care management team via the portal.

Are your carers trained to deal with my care needs?

All of our staff are suitably trained, competent, confident and equipped to do their job effectively. If any additional training is required, for example, stoma or epilepsy training, we will provide the carers with the relevant information and training to enable them to provide the right care.
