Oxford House Introduces a new interactive feature \u2013 a pop up Steam Train Carriage<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Oxford House Nursing Home is delighted to introduce its latest interactive feature \u2013 a pop up Steam Train Carriage, with an interactive wall feature, creating a therapeutic and reminiscent space, helping to change the quality of life for our residents living with dementia. Located in our lounge area, residents can take a trip aboard the Pullman Express, with the LCD train window feature playing hours of scenic countryside footage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It took centre stage for our Royal visit last week from the Princess of Wales. Her Royal Highness took a seat on the carriage and spoke to our residents about what it is like being a resident at the nursing home. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This feature, along with our interactive Mobii Board, provides our residents with positive stimulation, relaxation and fun. We place great importance on organising activities that match our residents’ interests and we make sure that there’s plenty going on so that residents can enjoy time together and with their families. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
