Everyone who joins our team receives intensive induction training. The training is then put into practice during a 2-4 week period shadowing one of our experienced carers. Competency checks are undertaken to ensure our carers are confident and competent prior to working solo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ongoing training includes specialist areas such as how to care for people with dementia, diabetes, epilepsy and those with a disability. We support our staff to achieve Levels 2-5 in the Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship programmes in association with our local training providers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oxford House Community Care has been selected to pilot local authority projects to develop outcome-based care and commissioning strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n
