Meet our new Senior Carer, Luanda Venning
We welcome back a familiar face to our care team. Luanda has re-joined our company as senior carer and here is what she has to say about working for Oxford House.
I first joined Oxford House Community Care as a carer in 2012, working in Bracknell. I gained valuable experience and enjoyed providing care in the community. Since leaving Oxford House, I have had various jobs in Adult Social Care, including working for the Red Cross and I have gained my Level 2 & 3 qualification in Health & Social Care. When the opportunity came up to work with Oxford House again, I was really pleased to re-join as a Senior Carer to support their services in the Winkfield and Windsor area.
I’m delighted to be back working for Oxford House as I can see on a daily basis the impact of person-centred care has on each client we visit. The client’s see their carers as a backbone for their health & wellbeing and highly rate the professionalism, efficiency and the thorough one to one approach to their care needs. Working for Oxford House is hugely rewarding in so many different ways and I would fully recommend it to anyone who wants to make a difference to the lives of the most vulnerable in society.
